The "Hospital Communautaire Autrichien - Haitien", which functions in the public health system as a Health Center, should be according to the Global Health Plan of the MSPP and in respond to the needs of the community and the demand of DSF and DSNO transformed into a mother-child health care center with the option of c-section (SONUC). |

The modification of the institution should be accompanied by a community health program dealing with reproductive health. For this health program the formation and employment of "Agents de Santé Communautaire Polyvalent" had been planned. |

To reinforce the institution three international doctors (Surgeon, Anesthesiologist, Gynecologist) will be supporting the medical services for a period of 3 to 16 months. They will moreover give trainings to the staff which is employed by the Hospital in medical and administrative fields if needed. To ensure the functionality of the institution support of medical and energy supplies will be given during the project phase. |
