Food for the hungry (FH) Haiti works closely with MSPP and other development partners to contribute to the reduction of maternal, child morbidity and mortality. We use cascade group approach (CG) to ensure that accurate information about health and nutrition is disseminated at grassroots level throughout the target population. Our health department works closely with ministry of health (Belladere hospital) to organize mobile clinic outreach, conduct vaccination and de-worming campaigns for children, and distributing Vitamin A supplements. In terms of water and sanitation, we work through community leaders and CGs to protect spring catchments and construct water reservoirs to collect rain water. |
